Five for Friday
It’s Friday which means I’m doing my little happy dance and typing a blog post for my favorite link up!
Started my week on a positive note. One of my little Kinder Cuties handed me this bouquet as he walked into the classroom and said, “Happy Monday”. My heart melted. So thoughtful and such a great way to start the week.
This week we were working on our colors and for brown day we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you See?! by Eric Carle. Afterwards we made a sequencing craft where they colored and then cut out the animals and told the story to their friends.
Our first unit in ELA is all about how letters/sounds make words, words make sentences, and sentences communicate a message. This week we put letters together to make words.
My favorite season is here and I couldn’t be more excited if I tried. To kick off the season we did a brainstorm sheet where we compared and contrasted summer and fall. You can grab this freebie by clicking on the picture.
Thursday’s just got a whole lot better now that #TGIT is back!! I am obsessed with Scandal, in fact I would be lying if I didn’t tell you I probably binge watched the show at least 3 times this summer. Olitz just makes me swoon! Shonda certainly didn’t disappoint last night. I won’t give away any details just in case there are readers who haven’t had a chance to watch, but oh my goodness! It’s going to be a good season. 🙂
Well that wraps up my Five for Friday. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Friday and a great Fall Weekend! 🙂
