Our Day in K Membership
Let me see if any of this sounds familiar to you. You feel a little overwhelmed by kindergarten. You’ve tried Facebook groups. You’ve tried coworkers. You had a mentor. There’s power in making the decision to make this school year better. The worst thing you can do is nothing at all. I had to learn that the hard way. When you resign yourself to a tough year, what ends up happening is hours of your weekends spent planning, tons of phone calls home about behavior, drives home in silence, and gallons of ice cream devoured!
It wasn’t until I started using visuals and taking the time to show my little learners exactly what to do, and how to do it that I saw a difference. I discovered that there was a better and easier way to:
- manage the classroom
- overcome challenging behaviors
- foster a calm and caring classroom community
- plan literacy
- deepen home connections
- and above all else ditch the chaos and save my sanity!
Our Day in K Membership
