Welcome to My Day in K where we inspire little learners to bloom!   My name is Diana and I have been teaching for 18 years. I taught one year of third and the rest has been in Kindergarten.  My heart is definitely in Kindergarten!  I love watching them grow throughout the year.  It amazes me how they come in as babies and grow into independent thinkers.  Their curiosity and love of learning is contagious!

In my classroom I am passionate about helping little learners understand how to be a student so they are available to learn.  I believe when students can see and hear what they need to do it makes all the difference.  I also love cultivating an inclusive classroom environment where students see themselves, know they belong, and their voices are heard.

I opened my TeachersPayTeachers store about 8 years ago.  I have always loved creating resources for my classroom and decided to give this adventure a try. I LOVE creating engaging and interactive lessons and activities for the classroom.  Starting this path has been the best things for my teaching career because I have connected with such fantastic educators and have learned so much from this teaching community.  I feel as though this journey keeps my ideas fresh in the classroom and I love sharing resources and ideas with others.

On a personal note, when I am not busy in my classroom or creating resources I am busy being Mom to my beautiful girls.  I love watching them discover the world.  It’s amazing to witness their personality develop!  I feel lucky to have the best of both worlds! I get to spend weekends, breaks, and summers with my family as well as teach my favorite grade.
