April Resources for Kindergarten

Spring has sprung! And, I think we are all in need of some extra engagement to keep our students calm! Today, I have a roundup of my favorite April resources for kindergarten. These are engaging, seasonal, and sure to make your teaching a little easier this month!

April Math Journals

This April-themed journal spiral reviews math concepts from the entire year. They are adorable, standards-aligned, and low-prep. They are great for spiral review of all of your skills this year, which makes them the perfect morning work or center for springtime!

Earth Day Activities

April is all about caring for our planet! Use this activity pack as a way to discuss caring for our planet. Anchor chart pieces, writing pages, scrambled sentences, and an emergent reader are all included!

Write the Room

Spring is the perfect season for getting students up and moving as often as possible! Write the room activities are perfect for that. Review skills like CVCe words and compound words with the write the room sets I have in my TPT store!

Sentence Sensory Bin

This Sentence Scramble Sensory Bin inspired by spring is perfect for the month of April! Get your students building, reading, and writing sentences. Students pull a card and read it, build a sentence, and then read and write each sentence. Ten sentences are included with sight words and easy to decode words and picture clues.

Crack the Code

This is a seasonal, and adorable, way to practice beginning sounds! Students build words by identifying the beginning sound of each picture. Once they have all of the beginning sounds, they will have a CVCe word! Your students will love the baseball theme in this resource!
