March Resources for Kindergarten

March has arrived! Before we know it, we will be talking about the end of the year. Where has the time gone this year? Today, I have a roundup of my favorite March resources for kindergarten. These are engaging, seasonal, and sure to make your teaching a little easier this month!

March Math Journals

This March-themed journal spiral reviews math concepts from the entire year. They are adorable, standards-aligned, and low-prep. They are great for morning work, a math center, or a warm-up each day this month.

How to Catch a Leprechaun Writing

This fun writing assignment gets students writing about how to catch a leprechaun. They will map out the steps, and participate in a variety of writing tasks around this theme!

Sentence Sensory Bin

This Sentence Scramble Sensory Bin inspired by a lucky marshmallow cereal is perfect for the month of March! Get your students building, reading, and writing sentences. Students pull a card and read it, build a sentence, and then read and write each sentence. Ten sentences are included with sight words and easy to decode words and picture clues.

St. Patrick Math Centers

Hands-on St. Patrick’s Day themed math centers for the month of March. Laminate or put each page in a sleeve protector and your math centers are ready to go! This set uses snap cubes, pattern blocks, and geoboards. Perfect for math centers, fast finishers, or morning work.

Build a Leprechaun

Your students will love using pieces to create their own leprechaun and write about it. This craft is perfect to complete whole class and display on your bulletin board. A variety of writing pages are included to fit the needs of your students.
