Tell all Tuesday: Summer Recharge
Happy Tuesday!
I don’t know about you, but I really feel like these weeks are cruising by at a rapid speed. It’s hard to believe we are already to the end of July and as I looked on my calendar today I realized that I will be back in my classroom soon setting up for my next group of kiddos.
Before the summer completely sails away, Jayme from TeachTalkInspire and I thought it would be fun to talk about Summertime Recharge. During the school year we go, go, go, from back to school prep, to curriculum night, to conferences, to grade level events. Once the school year starts it’s full steam ahead. With that being said we thought it would be fun to find out: How do teachers relax and recharge their batteries for the next school year during the summer?!
Personally, I like to…
Summertime is the perfect time for me to read a few books on the list I collect all year. There is nothing better than a relaxing morning of escaping with a must read!
I’m not going to lie I’m addicted to Netflix. A few of my go tos have got to be The Office, Friends, Gilmore Girls, Parenthood, and currently my Hubby and I are binge watching Shameless. If you have any suggestions send them my way… 🙂
Target Trips are simply the best way to de-stress. There is nothing better than wandering the aisles and finding new treasures. The dollar section is an added bonus!
I love to create materials for my classroom and summertime is a great time to tackle the ideas I have throughout the year!
Now it’s your turn…
