Highlight Reel

Happy Saturday!  This week has been a whirlwind.  I had three days with my kiddos and then we had conferences and a day for Professional Development. My Monday started with one kiddo telling me about her weekend…

Could not make this stuff up if I tried.

I also had the opportunity to run a Professional Development class with a dear friend of mine about our ELA curriculum.  I am always inspired when I have the opportunity to surround myself with other K teachers from my district.  It’s fun to hear what they are doing in their classroom and learn from each other.  I look forward to more opportunities in the upcoming months to sit down and continue to learn and grow with these teachers.

This week I was able to finish up a few new products for my TPT store.  March is my favorite month, the color green just makes my heart happy.  I uploaded a March Math Unit.  It focuses on Common Core Standards K.OA.A.3, K.OA.A.4, and K.OA.A.5.  Students have the opportunity to practice decomposing numbers less than or equal to ten and find missing addends through playing games and interacting with their peers.  Be sure to check it out!

Our upcoming science unit is about water exploration.  I have uploaded a unit on water to my TPT store.

This unit has vocabulary cards, a water easy reader where students can write facts they have learned, a water can be cut and glue activity, and water cycle activities.

Thank you for checking out my highlight reel for the week.

Happy Weekend!
