Currently-June

Happy June everyone!  I almost forgot it was the start of a new month and time to link up with Farley from Oh Boy, Fourth Grade for her monthly linky party.  I am proud to be a part of this month’s link up because I had the opportunity to donate to a town in need.  Thank you Farley for collecting donations for WAG.  I am happy to be able to contribute and I hope that you are able to collect a lot of money for this great organization.
Listening- I have officially hit the time of year where I can no longer sleep because my to-do lists have taken over my brain.  I am currently listening to the birds chirping as everyone else in my household is sound asleep.  That’s ok, this time is nice to get so time for myself and relax.
Loving-I am loving that school if over in less than a week!  I LOVE my class this year, I am not going to lie I will probably shed a tear or two when they leave, but I am excited to have some down time.  This has been a great year of learning and I am so proud of everything my kiddos have accomplished!  They are definitely ready for first grade and I can’t wait to watch them grow!
Thinking- I am like everyone else and my to-do lists are miles long.  I get into the habit of rewriting the lists over and over and putting them in different places just so I will not forget.  This time of year is always so stressful.  I am happy to work in the place that I do that everyone is so supportive of everyone else.  I just have to remind myself to breath and that in the end everything always eventually gets done, one way or another! 😉
Wanting- I have decided that a treat for myself for the end of the year celebration will be a manicure.  I have neglected my poor nails long enough and my cuticles are in bad shape.  It is time for them to get some TLC.
Needing- It has been far to long since I have seen my girlfriends.  I desperately need some girl time.  The first thing on my agenda is to plan a night out after the dust has settled from the end of the year festivities.
Summer Lovin- I am excited to be able to have some time to read for fun.  I have put several books from the public library on hold and I can’t wait to get my hands on them.  Nothing says summer more to me than sitting outside, catching some rays, and reading a good book!  I am also looking forward to some day trips that the Hubby and I have planned.  I am bummed that Vegas did not work out for me this summer, but excited to see everyone’s pictures and postings.  Next summer it is my plan to be there!  For this summer, the hubby and I want to do a few short road trips to places we have not been before, like Milwaukee.  I am also excited because my sweet Grandma turns 90 on July 3rd.  In honor of her big day we are throwing her a birthday bash.  I think we invited over 100 people and it will be such a great time to celebrate her.  I have cousins coming in from Tennessee so it will be great to be together and just have fun!
I hope everyone enjoys the start of their June and whether you are almost on summer break or on summer break, enjoy!  Thank you again to Farley for hosting such a great linky!
