Five For Friday
Happy Friday Friends! Similar to anyone who is currently not in Vegas I am suffering from major FOMO! The pictures look fabulous and I can’t wait to hear all about it. It looks like everyone is having a wonderful time and it is fun to see everyone meet up and be in one photo together.
A BIG shout out to Angie from Lucky Little Learners and Ashley from Schroeder Shenanigans in 2nd. Thanks for taking the time to bring Vegas to us through Periscope. (Periscope is a free app that you can download and watch live broadcasts. You can set up an account through your Twitter) It has been fun to get a glimpse of all the fun and I hope you know how much we appreciate you taking the time to do this!
Ready or not TpT Vegas 2016, this girl is coming!! Until then I thought I would recap my week here in good ol’ Illinois. The weather and the month are not seeing eye to eye at the moment. They need to get on the same page so we can have a few sunny, hot days! Fingers crossed…
The hubby and I have been taking advantage of this beautiful weather. On Tuesdays we have been walking into town for the weekly car show. It has been a great way to spend some time together and enjoy some fresh air. I power down and learn my cell phone at home. It’s a wonderful thing!
Oh Target, you sure know the way to a teacher’s heart! I feel as though their dollar section just continues to get better each year. I hit the jackpot this week! They have the cutest classroom decorations, stickers, foam dice, and reward certificates. I am resisting the urge to pass by the aisles for round 2. If you haven’t gone I highly recommend it!
I love our Tell all Tuesday summer link up! Jayme (Teach, Talk, Inspire) and I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to link up. I have always been a fan of Amy Poehler. Her witty one liners on SNL and hilarious comedies like Baby Mama always has me laughing. I bit the bullet and checked out yet another library book (I really have a problem) and I have not been able to put her book down. It is such a fun read!

We started to binge watch Parks and Recreation. Best decision of the week!
I have been lucky enough to be apart of the kindergarten ELA curriculum writing for the past four years. After spending so many hours together I am fortunate to call these colleagues, friends. We have seen each other through weddings, babies, and lots of other celebrations. This summer our team has been working on tweaking our assessments and rubrics. Any excuse I have to get together with this fabulous team I am always excited to take.
