Description

A calm down area is such a valuable space in your classroom or house. Little learners can have big feelings and teaching them how to cope and self regulate is such an important skill. Social emotional learning is a necessary part of our day. This resource includes everything you need to set up your calm down area such as visuals, strategy cards, emergent reader, parent connection page, calm down menu and more. The visuals included can be a handy tool to use in your Calm Down Corner to show students exactly what they can do to calm down and how to use this space.

***UPDATE: Just added Serenity Strips to laminate and tape to tables or desks for individual calm down opportunities that are appropriate during social distancing.
